FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages do you coach?

Players from as young as 4 right through to open-age adults. The Miles Ahead Method has three tiers built around this: The Adventure Begins (ages 4–7), Starter (7–10), and Full (10+), each with goals and sessions pitched at that stage.

Are you DBS-checked? What safeguarding is in place?

Yes. I’m DBS-checked and I’m the designated Safeguarding Lead for Miles Ahead Football, so safeguarding isn’t an afterthought. It’s built into how every session runs.

What happens if a session gets cancelled or rained off?

We’ll rearrange it. No lost sessions, no argument. Just a new time that works for you.

Where do sessions take place?

Location varies depending on availability and what suits you best. We’ll confirm the exact venue with you before every session.

What's the difference between 1-to-1 and Small Group Sessions?

1-to-1 is one player, one coach, total focus on that individual player’s game. Small Group Sessions (up to 4 players) run the same method and the same intensity, shared across a small group. A good option if your player thrives on a bit of friendly competition or wants to train alongside friends.

Can I just try one session before committing to more?

Yes. There’s no obligation to book a course of sessions. If the first session isn’t right for your player, let us know and we’ll refund it. No argument.

How do I book a session?

Get in touch through the contact form and tell us your child’s name, age, and what they want to work on. We reply within 24 hours. A real answer from Miles, not an automated one.

How much does it cost?

1-to-1: £35 for 45 minutes, £40 for 60 minutes. Small Group: from £20 per player, depending on group size. Full pricing is on the Sessions page.

What is The Miles Ahead Method?

It’s the coaching system behind every session: The Map (goal-setting), Hard Miles (intentional volume on weaknesses), The Pit Stop (daily accountability check-in), and The Mental Game (handling mistakes and pressure). You can read the full breakdown on The Method page.
